Moon Meals is based out of Chicago and is owned by Laforce Baker. Laforce wanted to introduce healthy meals “under the moon” for Chicago professionals to enjoy as a late-night snack. He founded the company in 2012 as a small delivery service.

Their signature Fiesta Wrap™ is a healthy vegan wrap that contains no meat or dairy but is still “meaty and cheesy”. They also offer soups, burgers, Mac & cheese, salads and more. Moon Meals can be found in Chicago Jewel-Osco grocery stores.

Simply Produce

Simply Produce is owned by Deanna Butler and is located in College Park, GA. Not only does Deanna provide a much needed service to customers by selling fresh produce but she also sources most of her product from local Black farmers. She is passionate about serving the community that she has lived in for thirteen years.

At Simply Produce, you can buy fresh vegetables or purchase fruit bowls, fruit trays or fresh made to order juices. Many of us have talked about the need for Black-owned places to get fresh produce on the south side, so here you go!
