Charlie's Angels Movers is based out of Ackworth, GA and is owned by Charlie Darrien. I was introduced to Charlie at a networking event by a mutual friend. Charlie's personality was infectious and seemed to be shared by the members of her team.

Ms. Ro's Dance Closet is located in College Park, GA and is owned by Roshawn Buxton. She is also the co-founder of the nonprofit Permission to FLY (Fully Love Yourself). A former dancer herself, Roshawn has a passion for the art of dancing. Her own dance career was cut short as a result of being involved in 2 major automobile accidents. But Ms. Ro's Dance Closet keeps Roshawn connected with the dance community near and far.
Permission to FLY's mission is "to empower and inspire girls and women with rare and complex conditions through the performing arts, advocacy, education and mentor-ship".
Make sure to go and support Ms. Ro's Dance Closet as it is the only Black-owned dance apparel boutique inside of the perimeter!
H.O.M.E. is owned by Carolyn Tolbert and stands for Helping Oppressed Mothers Endure. When my wife and I were recently looking to donate a soon-to-be-replaced couch to someone in need, one of my neighbors recommended H.O.M.E. After doing some research, we realized that their focus is to help single mothers who are facing hardships to furnish their homes.
They provide a win-win for both parties by picking up the furniture from the donor and delivering it to the mother. And yes they are a 501(c)3 so your donation is tax-deductible! Kudos to H.O.M.E. for fulfilling a need in our community!
