Transport Plus is based out of Ellenwood, GA and is owned by Terrence McCrary, a.ka. Bigg Tee.  Those of you who know him have no doubt seen him with a cigar in his mouth on many occasions! Bigg Tee enjoys celebrating good times with his friends and family and can frequently be seen at Savoy Bar & Grill in Stockbridge. He is also an AVID Falcons fan.

I had the pleasure of meeting Terence over 5 years ago while searching for a new transporter for the car dealership I was working for. Mercedes-Benz of Buckhead in Atlanta, GA is a part of the Baranco Automotive group which was founded by Juanita Baranco and her husband Gregory in 2003. Since you are no doubt familiar with Mercedes, I'll give you some insight into Mrs. Baranco.  She earned her B.S. degree and Juris Doctor from LSU and was awarded the Doctor of Human Letters degree honoirs causa from Clark Atlanta in May of 2014. She has been featured on several occasions as one of Georgia Trend Magazine's "100 Most Influential Georgians" and has been a finalist for the Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award.

In addition to the Mercedes store, Baranco Automotive Group has also recently opened a used car center in Morrow, GA under the same name. We all like a nice car so when it's time to reward yourself with that new S-Class or SUV, make sure to go to Baranco!

Legacy Ford is located in McDonough, GA and was founded by State Senator Emanuel Jones. His son, Emanuel Jones II, is the man in charge as General Manager. Like most automotive dealer's kids, young Emanuel grew up around his dad's business and worked there throughout his teens. He began pursuing a career as a doctor until he felt a sense of responsibility to the family business.

Legacy Automotive Group is the parent company of Legacy Ford and also includes Legacy Hyundai. Jones II desires to grow the group to a total of 5 dealerships.

CarMarshal is based out of Dallas, TX and was created by Tracey Watts. Having spent 18 years of my career in automotive sales, I was intrigued to learn about Tracey's company when I ran across it on social media. He wanted to solve the problem he personally encountered with car shopping. 

CarMarshal allows you to search for vehicles for sale. What sets CarMarshal apart is his drive to list Black-owned car dealers' inventory on his site. His ultimate goal is to partner with HBCUs and Black-owned banks to offer alumni and members access to quality automobiles across the country.

If this picture looks familiar, then you may recognize it from the cover of Black Enterprise magazine in the summer of 2013. CEO's Anthony March and Ernest Hodge started their journey over 30 years ago. I have personally known the Hodge's since the early '90s and consider them family. Not only do I buy my cars from them but I also worked with them for years!  EH Automotive was birthed out of MarchHodge Automotive and has its roots in Atlanta. Its Georgia dealerships include Heritage Cadillac, Infiniti of South Atlanta and 3 Volkswagen dealerships (South Atlanta, Lithia Springs and Marietta). They have since expanded into Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Tennessee and Virginia. 

Not only does the company provide hundreds of jobs, but Mr. Hodge has donated money to his Alma Mater, Norfolk State University, to create The Ernest M. Hodge Institute for Entrepreneurship.
